The 2nd half of 2015 has been challenging and life felt too routine.
We decided to have a change of scenery and headed out to Marina Bay Sands for Christmas lunch.
It was dad’s first time at MBS. We had a super heavy Brazilian Churrasco lunch. Mouthwatering BBQ meats of every kind.. simply heavenly!
To burn off the calories, we took a nice long stroll along the MBS Shoppes (window shopping only.. it’s too expensive to shop at MBS!)
And even though I dislike the heat, we also took a leisurely walk along the boardwalk.
When you’re feeling like you’re stuck in a rut, it’s always good to step out and do something different. Be in the now and enjoy what’s right in front of you.
It was a gorgeous day. I loved the juxtaposition of the bright sun & the threatening grey clouds, the modern skyscrapers looming over the historical Clifford Pier and also the tropical palms trees on the left vs the Christmas pine/fir tree on the right.
Such is Singapore. A fantastic blend of east & west, old & new.
It was a pleasure to take in the moment.
